Welcome
Welcome to Arden Reading Academy, a private tutoring center offering individual and group tutoring to enhance development in the language arts. Students at Arden can choose to participate in groups such as book clubs, writing workshops, and poetry clubs... or they can register for private or semi-private tutoring. Arden offers students enrichment in the language arts in a small, comfortable environment that is welcoming and inviting to even the most hesitant of readers and writers.
Focus Point of the Month
Read to your child! Reading aloud to your child is one of the best things you can do to develop and foster a love of reading. As your child listens to your voice, they not only will grow in their listening skills, but will simultaneously grow in their knowledge of the significance of the written word. Read aloud books should be selected based on reading ability; they should be just above a student's independent reading level. Not only will the time reading to your child benefit their reading and listening skills, but it will also serve to enhance the parent/child bonding time!
To develop a lifelong love of reading and writing through enriching activities that build student confidence, fluency, and comprehension in the language arts.
Our Mission
One of the best ways for students to improve in their reading and writing skills is by becoming a member of a reading or writing group. Check out what is offered....Space is limited.
